WOYWW #387

Well since I last posted the week has been extremely busy and my darling husband is home for the week before heading back to work. So have tried to spend some time with him and the general mundane of the daily chores. Really have not had a lot of time making anything but I did pull out a mini album I have been working on for years.

It is a Daily December mini album tutorial I followed on line from Kathy Orta King from 2012 made from cards and envelopes. The reason it is out as I decided to take it to work and now it is out on my desk hoping for it finally to be finish. If I am to make it again I will make the binding larger spaces
and a few other things I might change so the pages lay flatter but I am planning on finishing this one. So there still is stuff from last week still laying on my desk still have stuff I am cleaning up my space.

But for some fun news I am having another giveaway and will be drawing a winner in the next two weeks for all these goodies.

There is a Inkadinkado stamp around the page mini starter set, 3 different Quick Kutz dies( luggage, scale and camper)Jumbo pop dot adhesive squares, Martha Stewart embossing powder (3 colours),K & Company Washi tape (2 different styles), K&Company Die cut cardstock, Martha Stewart die cut paper tape and Recollections die cut shapes and tags packages. Okay so here is how you can win these goodies and it is open for international just leave me a comment below letting me know you would like to participate in my giveaway. The closing date is November 15th and I will post it up on November 16th.

Well hop over to Julia's desk if this is your first time learning about this great fun everyone is having Wednesday all over the world and she had as the details on her blog. It is a great place to make new friends and see what everyone's been up to on there desks.

WOYWW

Well it has been a few weeks since I have posted and hard to believe that it has been that long. So to everyone Happy WOYWW to everyone who has come to take a peek at what I have been up to. If you pop over to our fearless founder Julia, for all the info and join in for the fun and making great friends all over the world.

Okay to what all you have come to see my desk....

I am now racing to finish October layout challenge and the 3 little fuzzy cut out images are from my sister who is kind enough to stamp and colour me images for me to use. I am also working on a few Christmas decorations in the right corner which once again my sister sent me the coloured images. Nothing is completed but a work in progress.....but when isn't a desk mostly holding something is progress.

A quick close up of my rosettes with beautifully coloured images from my sister.

Here is September layout I finished just forgot to post.

And I did finish the other Halloween layout with the paper I inked and yes ironed so I could glue it down easier. Didn't work out exactly like I invisioned it but I like it.
And my dear little hairy babies Nanook and Olly have been keeping me busy as we got them fixed almost two weeks ago and they both had to have the cone of shame. Will have to remind my daughter to send me picture from her phone so I can post some next week.
I have so missed Wednesday's and would like to say to everyone who visits and comments thank you so much I enjoy hearing from everyone.
Have a wonderful week and off I go to hop around and check out what everyone has been up to.
Hugs ~Anne 😉

WOYWW #383

Well it is Wednesday and it has for sure gone by fast but this is the day to hop around and to see might be lying around so many wonderful creative friends desks. If you are new to all of this hop over to Julia's our great founder of this and join in the fun.

Okay well not much going on really but working on a new double layout for Halloween. Not even close to being done as I just can not decide on what paper really fits with the creepy effect I want. Hoping I do get sometime in the next few days to get working on it again. My desk did look like a bomb of paper went off with the piles of every Halloween paper I own right across both tables but I cleaned up........

To make the crinkled up paper with distress ink of I think five different colours and then spray water over to let the ink move around. Added a tad to much so before I started supper the other day my paper went first into the low temp of the oven to dry fast..... Should really use oven to bake cookies.....not my craft stuff. Something my one daughter always says some moms bake cookies and my mom bakes paper or what ever I have in there. I know I did say last week about a giveaway I am planning but the last few days just got away from me and should have it ready to post for next week as I do hope to get into my room later this week. Short and sweet post as I really haven't done much with trying to recover from the lung infection but it still hanging in so I will be heading back to the doctors I go.

Just want to say to everyone thank you so much for visiting me last week and leaving me such wonderful comments. Ok well off to head to as many desks as I can before taking my little hair babies to the groomers for a well need bath and tidy to come home looking handsome.

Have a FABULOUS Wednesday everyone.
💕 Hugs ~Anne 💕

WOYWW #382

YAH  IT'S  WEDNESDAY and if you know about this great desk hopping around the world to check in on what everyone has been up to. If you would like to know more about this pop over to Julia's site and join in the fun and make some great new friends.

Okay so what you have come to see is my desk but first I missed last week due to me getting a chest infection and am on antibiotics and feeling somewhat better but not 100% yet. So I haven't done anything really but before I was really ill I did start redoing my stamp storage again. I figured out I am not a binder person and the system just wasn't working for me, I prefer to flip though.

So I pulled out my FUSE tool and used heavy duty page protectors to make any size I needed and for those small stamps I cut apart the baseball card page protectors for those. I am so loving this new system but still have a way to go to finish the box sitting on the floor waiting to get there cover made.
This is my DIY version from buying all those plastic storage that is being sold from so many
companies and using what I have. I also have put the matching dies behind the stamp sets and am
liking that so easy to find and all together.

I also am showing the page protectors I used as the thin cheap ones I was using just we're not as good as these ones I bought some time back ago from staples. The tiny box underneath is for my sister Nikki some goodies for here and the box above is full a scrapbook goodies for a world wide giveaway but just will be posting it soon for all to enter and have a chance to win.

Since I really haven't done much thought I might show what is stored in the boxes piled on the bookshelf well just two of them I have a button collection on the to the left and my sequence to the right and yes this is large hoard stash but I have had some of this for about a decade. Yes time to get the boxes off the shelf and used my stash. No overly creative storage as it is only the basic photo boxes but only has one kinda item in each one I have labeled and easy to locate when I need them.

.................................
Here is my other table full of goodies I am selling just haven't posted a detailed list and took a few pictures to show and this is just some as I am still downsizing so if you see anything or need more details in the stash I spread out just email me and will sell cheap and the cost of shipping and will be happy to send it on its way.

Thanks for visiting today and I want to say thank you for everyone who leaves such wonderful comments I enjoy each and everyone. Have a super fantastic Wednesday everyone.
Hugs ~Anne L

WOYWW #380

I can not believe it is Wednesday already where did the time go. If you are new to our Wednesday's head over to our fearless leader Julia's, join in the fun and to learn more the link is below to her blog.

Well here is my desk really not much has changed from last week as I am still working on September challenge and it just is taking its time to get done. To the right is another wink a Stella pen and my stamp set from lawn fawn my sister gave me for my birthday and when I went for my holiday earlier this summer I picked up the die to go with it. I have left it there so I remember as soon as this layout is done I MUST start on making some Christmas cards.

As you can see to the left is a new paper collection, well this collection is what I won and two other women won the same for completing the summer challenge for the local scrapbook store, Scrapbooks Made Simple where I live. Here is a close up of the paper pack.

It is Carta Bella Summer Loving what a great prize for all of us to win. Well really that is about it as for three days my DH and I where in the car heading down to Calgary and back for a quick meeting he had and then out to dinner for a nice  anniversary dinner before heading back home early the next morning. So that's about all I have really done and it is a short post. Thank you to everyone who visited last week and commented it really means so much to me to read them all. Have a great week and I am off to hop around to as many desks as I can.
Hugs ~Anne

WOYWW #379

Yes it is Wednesday and this means WOYWW and if you are new to this head over to our wonderful creator Julia Stamping Ground so go check out and join the great fun all of us have every Wednesday with a great bunch of creative friends.

So to my desk.......

Here I am working on this months layout challenge for the local scrapbook store. I have a pile of stickers in the left hand corner, pulled them out from my stash and at the top is paper and stuff that came in the kit to use. I decided to make some embellisments from the paper using glossy accents and doing some fussy cutting out. And late last Wednesday I finally finished the summer challenge and here is the layout.

With the help of my oldest hole punching out the ants and glueing black sequence to there butts. The yellow flowers are extras I made and just sitting in my stash. The green grass is cut out from a Cricut cartridge and I embossed two squares and layered them under to add a napkin under the blanket. The layout sits on my album that holds all the challenges I have done over the past year.

Haven't been up to much as I am still under the weather from last week. My DH and I are going away  to celebrate our 22sd wedding anniversary Saturday and we are leaving the kids for the weekend at home.

I want to say thank you to everyone who visited and left me wonderful comments that I enjoy reading each one. I am off to hop around to such creative desk owners. Have a amazing Wednesday to everyone.
Hugs ~Anne 😉

WOYWW #378

It's Wednesday and it is time to see what has landed on my desk in the since last week.

This is my desk late Tuesday night and yes I did tidy it a bit as I seemly lost my ruler under piles of paper and goodies.

I am in a race to finish the last of the summer challenge layouts and I have finished 5 in the last 48 hours with one left to do later Wednesday afternoon. Glad I didn't take a picture of the floor as there is a ton of scrap paper that is laying everywhere since my daughter and me have been working on our happy planners and then doing the layouts.  On the desk is a bowl of ice cream my DH gave me since I have lost my voice and when I talk sounds like a frog. In the top left corner is my paper collection from photo play the happy glamper and to the far right I found 100 crayola pencil crayons, more so to practice my coloring with before I get a better set. I once again put away the stuff I picked up last week on our trip to Edmonton for my brother in law so I guess no peeking at that. The test went well for him and the doctors are now deciding to do a by pass soon and cross there fingers that will help, but he is at home resting from it all and back to waiting for the doctors to pick a date.

Here is a quick shot of all the layouts to date and if you notice to the right is my ATG gun in a homemade stand from wood blocks and elastic bands and I love it no more hunting for it under paper or it sticking to where it shouldn't. Okay a few close up of the 5 layouts...

Well that's about it as this week is still rolling in to crazy tomorrow I get my car back from the shop, school starts for my youngest on Thrusday and it feels like winter so I will be in a race to get everything done outside before the first snow fall and I am crossing my fingers, knocking on wood it doesn't come soon but we do have heat on its getting that chill in the air.

Thank you to everyone last week for visiting and leaving me such beautiful comments to read. I am off to see what everyone else has been up to. Have a fantastic Wednesday and thanks for visiting today.
Hugs ~Anne 🤗
