WOYWW #4

Click the link above to take you to Julia's site who created this wonderful Wednesday of people from all over the world sharing there work spaces and desks.

I can not believe another week has gone by so fast and you are all here to see desk. I will say not much has changed on my desk as I had been under the weather and just starting to feel better. You can see I have started cutting the chip board and paper to start the binding but really that's about it. This week is looking like I am going to have be working extra on them as I sold the ones in store again and have a few people wanting them.

So I am keeping this post short this week as not much I did as you can see but hoping by next Wednesday I will have the mini albums done. Well off I go as it is Tuesday night and catching up on housework as everyone knows when your sick things just don't get done.

Have a fantastic Wednesday to everyone and thanks for the visit.

WOYWW #3

WOYWW

I am hoping that Julia is feeling better then last week and that the doctors can get her in for surgery soon, my thoughts have been with her and family wishing them well.

I can not believe that it is Wednesday already, just wanted to THANK YOU to everyone whom came to my blog last week and commented, it put a smile on my face. My DH is heading back to work today and he should be home next month sometime as the job is coming to an end, time to wrap up this phase of it. He is looking forward to some time off as it has been over two years of living out of a suitcase and it will be nice to put it away for a few months besides it will be great to have him home every night to.

To what Wednesday, brings to my desk this week..... I really haven't spent a lot of time in my craft room as I wish I could of. It has a bit of this and that all over the table as I have been working on blank mini albums and finishing some up to put in the local scrapbook store to sell.

You can see right in the middle the starting of a mini album assembly line about to begin as the ones I am starting ion will be just under 6x6 envelope albums with the cards as the pull out tags. I still have to cut the chipboard, wrap the cover and make the hidden hinge for them. I love how it makes the album look when done to. To the right at the top in front of my markers is 4 vertical paper bag albums and 1 file folder album waiting for insert before I seal them up and take to the store. Oh yes and light bulbs in front of that as another one blew, I buy the reveal ones as my room is on the fourth floor and only one little window in the whole room. Beside the light bulbs is another mini album which I finish making but I think I might just keep this one for me to decorate as it is 6 pages with 3 large tags and a flap on one side that holds a two card style tags. Not a small album took about 40 pieces of card stock to make just the one. To the left is 3 more package of cards and envelopes which I will also be making into mini albums. Not sure how much I will get done as I am working 3 days and then said I would take my girls shopping on Saturday and going to surprise them with a trip to Costco after.

I also grabbed my 6x6 display album for the store I had put away and thought I might see what is left to finish on it so that customers can see what they can add to the blank set up to personalize it with flip pages, pockets and so much more. I seem to create the pages before permanently sticking them down so if I need to add brads or slit pockets I can do that without pulling it apart and giving it a much better finish look.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek at what I have been up to and hoping by next Wednesday that most of what is started is finished. Have a fantastic week everyone.

Hugs Always

Thanks a latte coffee card

This is a thank you card I made some time ago, I have a double matting dark green and a shade lighter that I embossed with a green band of paper with a soft yellow ribbon running across the card. I know the paper is houndstooth but no idea what company as it was in my scrap bin. Now for the yummy cup, I just cut out cream paper for the base of the cup and white for the lid cutting shapes out to look like a takeout cup. I used craft paper and put it though my crimper for the sleeve. two different size circles for the logo and the stamp I used was a studio G on I have had for years now. Oh and the ink I used was Tim Holtz distress walnut stain, vintage photo and peeled paint.

Challenge

Here is a picture of the inside as there is a shallow pocket to hold a gift card and still lots of room to write a little message to whom might be receiving it. The papers are left overs from the front of the card.

Thanks for taking a peek a peek at my card and I am off to go get a cup of coffee.

WOYWW #2

I can not believe that a whole week has gone by already and it has been a busy one at that to. I just wanted to say I did try to get around to everyone's desk and comment but the days just got away from me and to everyone that commented I just want to say thank you for the kinds words. As you can see not much has changed on my desk but a few things. I did get my layout done and six little Easter baskets that I made in a hurry as this weekend we are having our family dinner since my husband is coming home today and leaves again next Tuesday. Seven days just fly by before I know it also and he will be back out of town at work again. Oh yes and to the right of the layout is the pocket letter my sister and I swapped. I will have to post that up this week with pictures and have a few other layouts I have made to post also but I work from a mini I pad and let's say it is so different then a regular computer to. I am not much for tech side of things but my sister is always there to help me.

Here is a some what close up of my finished layout the cuts are from a few different Cricut cartridges  and no pictures yet still have to print out lots. I wanted to make this one for my husband and me in the first year together, hence the title I used. I do so love layouts that are whimsical and tell a mini story just by looking at it.

Here are the mini baskets I made once again using my Cricut and found some Easter stickers in my stash I have had forever. If I didn't run out of time I would done more then just cut out and add stickers. Also one of these are for my husband as he loves a treats and the other ones are for our three girls and my nephew and niece. Not extremely happy with them but they only hold goodies and then they are done with so good enough I guess.

Just once again thank you to all of you who came for a peek and hoping this week I can get on line and get to everyone to leave comments. Have a great Wednesday to you all.
Hugs ~Anne
