WOYWW #394 ~ The race before Christmas

Wednesday and it is time to head over to our lovely creator of WOYWW, Julia's blog and link is posted below.......

From last week I will say not sure where the time went but I do know right now not enough time in the day as I need it to be. I am glad to say I am almost ready for Christmas just a little more baking, few small gifts to pick up and packing up some more home baked goodies and chocolates for some friends of ours.

My desk is has now the kit I picked up about a month ago laid out about to start working on that when I have time in the next little bit before Christmas. It came with a ring binder to the left and on the right side is the papers and goodies. Oh yah right in the middle at the top you can see two little albums I made earlier today at work they are tiny 3 1/2 by 3 1/2 as I am trying to use up all that smaller chipboard pieces from all those albums I made. Just only 3 pocket pages inside still waiting for flips and tags to get done. In the top left is that Christmas album I have finished just going to cut photo matts and embellisments to put inside to decorate when pictures go in.

A close up of the album

Well I included pictures of the tags and the deconstructed envelope on the inside front cover and the double waterfall on the inside back cover.

I have also finished the mini little candy mugs that hold those yummy Ferraro Rocher chocolates. I followed a tutorial I found on You Tube ,Paper Tea Cups from Bibi Cameron. I think they will look great with all the goodies I have made for Christmas. Still have to pack up the mint chocolate spoons but will be sure to post those when I get to them and forgot to take a picture of the other chocolate Christmas light bulb suckers we have packed up into twos for my daughters co-workers and some friends.

As every year my sister and I make home made gifts for each other and here are the ones I made for her this year. Top hats are made from recycled ribbon spools and the snow globe I used my new die set Ready set snow from Lawm Fawn.

Here are the ones my sister sent me on my tree with our grandma's and my father's  glass decorations...

I know this post is very picture heavy with all the stuff I have finished and with all the baking almost finished and with it being wednesday I will be standing in front of the oven finishing up with my daughters day off work to be my third and forth hand. So I have the last few busy days ahead of me still but will do my best to get around to everyone's desk and to everyone I missed last week and to those who commented thank you so very much and I am sorry I just didnt get the time to get back and hop around liked I had planned. Thank you to everyone who commented on my last post I so love reading each and every comment and am touched by everyone's sweets words.

🎄May you all have a Merry Christmas.🎄

WOYWW #393

Where did the time go......it has been truly crazy week I have had. I am glad to say that the really cold spell has ended, we are at -21 with the wind chill which is still cold but much better then -39 with the wind but I will say it did feel colder then that. My dogs are happier it is a tad warmer so they can go out to play and do there business needed....as a few times I was running out to get them as they got just to cold and didn't want to move. Also I became a cab in away for my girls to cold to walk anywhere so dropping them off and picking them up from school and work, not to say i also had work, errands and just fell under the weather......never good for mom in this house. Okay well what you have come to see is my desk not my rant on the weather of Canadian northern weather report but we were lucky cause my DH is more northern then us and the weather there was colder so I am grateful we had a tad warmer then him.....I know -39 was warmer.

My desk as of late Tuesday night.....

I have some stamped images waiting to get coloured and cut out at the top of that a ton of card stock and fun foam shaker globes cut out waiting to be put together. In the box is another thing just waiting to be put together for Christmas goodies. I seemly haven't been down here much but to clean up the room with way to many boxes I couldn't find a thing and we our hosting Christmas dinner this year so I am on a time crunch to get everything done. I not sure how the week will go as there is still to much  to do. Still have doctors appointments for my daughters and trying to check things off my list which feels great but this weekend will be crazy with getting all the baking done by Monday as crossing my fingers my DH will be home on the 20th and will be home til the new year.

I know last week I didn't get around to as many desks and did late Tuesday get a few minutes to catch up on everyone who commented, and I so enjoy everyone's sweet words you left for me. I will do my best to get around this week but I have the next few days with appointments so do my best.

Thanks for stopping by to see my desk and have a super crafty week.
Hugs ~Anne 😉

WOYWW # 392

Wednesday is once again here and it is time to head over to Julia's blog to join in the worlds largest desk hope. If this is your first time hit the link below and see what it is all about and sign in to Mr. Linky and see what everyone has been up to.

The last week has been so busy and had a great surprise on Saturday as my DH had four days off work and came home for a little visit. It was a great treat as we had a family sit down supper with everyone home which never seems to happen much.... what a great evening it was. Well it is a tad cold lately here and today it is suppose to get to -31 and with wind chill should feel like -38 YIKES!
Hot chocolate day and cuddling up with my dogs.

Okay enough about the weather and to my desk....

I am finishing up the Christmas mini album and am making a little extra envelope style to hold a few extra photo mats. I am hoping to have it done by tonight and move on to a sisters handmade Christmas gift which i will not be able to post for some time but I am on a time crunch as it has to get into the mail soon to get to her in time. I did finish last week the 4 mini albums I was building and they are put now in a mini album pile ready to decorate..... easy to grab, go and decorate. In the right hand corner is the mini albums I made some time back. I have a small snowmen collection and you can see a Tim Horton's season paper cup my daughter grabbed me from her work......holding a few glue bottles upside down for me. Now my family would say my collection of snowmen isn't small at all, as they are in every corner of my house and can only buy one each year now..... surprising I haven't purchased one yet. That's all for me I am going to hop around to see what everyone has been up to. Also just wanted to say thank you to everyone whom visited and commented last week.

Have a wonderful day!
Hugs ~ Anne 😉

WOYWW #391

Happy Wednesday to everyone and it is that time again to see what lies on my desk.... but if this is new to you head over to Julia's blog and join in with all the fun. The link below will head you over for all info and hope to see you there.

The days seem to fly by lately with the general daily tasks, decorating and getting ready for Christmas....... never enough time in the day. As it is almost december my oldest daughter offered to help me with my baking list I seem to have a easy but large list of favorites that I just can not have.

Okay to what you have popped over for my desk......

I took more of a side view as I didnt want all the boxes that seem to still be laying around waiting to be put away since last week or have they been there longer. Nothing really done since last week but the album I started is to the far left which yes i am still working on it not much left til its finished. I have started making a few new mini albums which is surround my paper cutter at this moment. There is more done since i have taken the picture and just have to put them together tomorrow. Didnt take a picture but I have about 50 or more cut out snowflakes sitting on my table waiting to be stuck on windows and the bathroom mirrors. I am also going to cut more out on my cricut to make a winter town scene.... something my dad and loved how it looks standing outside looking in.

My two dies arrived today that I ordered at the local scrapbook store which match my stamps I treated myself some time back....  and beside that is a Simple Stores mini album kit with their Farmers Market paper line that. I can not wait to start making it either.

So this is my desk for this week and I'll try my best to get around to
everyone just this week just have alot going on for the rest of the week.

Thanks for stopping by....
Hugs ~Anne 😉

WOYWW #390

It is Wednesday and it is that time again to join in the fun and see what everyone has been up to peeking into there desks. Join in the fun over at Julia's blog where you will find more details.

Time has been seemly moving so fast and days are flying into weeks for me. I haven't gotten to much done since last week and I have been really trying to get the house decorated for Christmas. This is my desk last Tuesday night, I made a quick base of this mini album late Monday night so I could do it at work when slow. So this is my desk after unpacking my bin I took with me today. The surround area has piles of stuff that needs to be put away and empty bins from my decorations that needs to be put away in the crawl space once again.

Here is the images I have been colouring into my first Christmas card which has turned into a very thick shaker one.

I have a mini folio album I made a few years back for my sister in law for Christmas and asked her if I could take some pictures so I might be able to post up a completed one I have finished. I followed a tutorial on You Tube from Super Happy Scrapper. Here is a picture of the cover.

Inside left side:

Inside right side and middle:

The pocket flaps on both sides:

The right and left side of the front pockets to each sides flaps:

The middle waterfalls:

and all the tags that fit into the pockets:

Well that is it for me and I am off to hop around and pop in to see what everyone has been up to for the last week. Everyone have a wonderful week and thank you to for leaving a comment.

WOYWW #389

It is Wednesday and time to head over to Julia's blog and see what everyone's been up to. If you are new to WOYWW information is at http://stamping-ground.blogspot.ca and join in the fun with crafters from all over the world.

Haven't really been at my desk to much in the last 7 days as it has been a tad hectic, I just want to say to everyone who comment last week I so enjoyed reading everyone and am sorry I didn't get back to everyone or visit everyone's desk. To what you have popped in to see my desk......

Yah, it is a start of making a few Christmas cards with a new Lawn Fawn Frosty Fairy Friends stamp and die set. The markers to the left are my daughters grey touch markers, Bo Bunny paper, cards and envelopes. So I am hoping to at least get 5 cards made is my goal and if I great more done it will be a bonus. I had my daughter show me some tips with colouring so not bad for first time using these makers to shade so much...... Not as easy and quick as I thought it would be.

Here is the layout for this months challenge almost done as late today I did notice I forgot a title.

Here is October layout challenge I forgot to even take a picture of it to post and to make it more special is I won the draw ...... Yah!!!

Okay last thing is who won my giveaway and I would like to say congratulations to...

Hope everyone has a wonderful week and I am off to hop around to see what everyone else is been up to as I missed getting around last week.

WOYWW #388

Well here it is Wednesday again and time to see what everyone is up to and if you are new to this desk hop head over to Julia's blog for full details and joking into the fun.

Okay so what I have been up to.....which hasn't been as much as I like but I pushed everything aside to work on this months challenge for the local scrapbook store. Yes I did have to tidy up a bit but I lost my scissors and foam squares under piles......so this is very clean from a few hours ago.

To the left is a box of blank cards and to the top mixed up with some starting embellisments to make some Christmas cards, I got side tracked with the new layout you can see in the middle.

Here is a quick close up of it not finished just drying the snow texture under the house and snowman, still have a bit more before done. I did use my Cricut to cut out the house, embossed with Tim Holtz brick folder and then dry brushed Shaz on white ink for that frosted cold brick look. Post a picture up when I finish it.

Don't forget next Tuesday I close my giveaway and will be posting the winner on my Wednesday post. Take a peek on last weeks WOYWW post for details and a picture of all the goodies.you can still enter just leave me a comment on this post and I will add your name to the draw. Also thank you to everyone who visited me last week and left me such warm comments. Okay I am off to see what everyone has been up to.

Thanks for visiting and have a wonderful Wednesday.
Hugs ~Anne 🤗
